Welcome to the Web site of Big Sur Guides and Hiking. For the past 32 years we have been in the business of providing guided hikes and walks, for people of varying capabilities, into the breathtaking Big Sur Wilderness. We will introduce you to the migrating California Grey Whale, where you can get wet from the spout; we will share with you the sounds of cascading water flowing down a canyon laced with 7 and 8 hundred year old California Coastal Redwoods; we will take you to the most secret of water falls. We will take you to the only forest in Big Sur where the only thing between you and the sky are at least 10 thousand Monarch Butterflys.

* All tours originate from the lobby of The Ventana Inn and Resort
* We provide picnic lunches on all of the walks. All walks are 2 1/2  to 3 hours long.

For individuals joining the daily 11:30 hike leaving from the lobby of Ventana Inn and Spa, the price is 75 dollars per person and includes picnic lunch. For individuals or groups wanting to hike privately at any other time, the price is 120 dollars per person and includes picnic lunch. Discounts available for groups larger than 10.
